My name is Keziah, welcome to RAWD Reviews! I am writing this review because I love write, see theatre and share my creativity.

On the first of November I went to Liverpool Empire to see & Juliet which was all about if Juliet had not taken her life, and if she made her own decisions.

It was starring Gerardine Sacdalan as Juliet , Sandra Marvin as Angélique, Lara Denning as Anne Hathaway, Matt Cardle as Shakespeare, Jack Danson as Romeo, Kyle Cox as Francois, Jordan Broatch as May, Michael Nelson as Henry, Liam Morris as Richard, Jade Johnson as Nell / Lady C, Rosie Singha as Judith, Nia Stephen as Imogen, Psalms-Nissi Myers-Reid as Lucy/Alternate Juliet, and Dr Ranj Singh as Lance. The stage set was incredible! They has a big sign that lit up saying & Juliet, a jukebox, chairs, and even a wall, they also had a moon that they used to sit on, a carriage, and a chandler that Juliet hung from!

I was completely blown away by the effects, In one of the songs confetti exploded everywhere and it was so epic! In the beginning they even broke the wall interacting with the audience. I found it really accessible that we met the cast before the show started.

Juliet had a amazing stage presence, her singing was just incredible, and don't get me started on Anne, wow her acting was so raw, real, and showed so much emotion, in one seen she confronts Shakespeare and her acting is just incredible, it was so moving!

Anne and Juliet had amazing chemistry and it was really believable that they were friends.

There were iconic moments such as a boy band singing, everybody, Shakespeare and Anne singing I want it that way, and Juliet's outfit change.

I was smiling all the way though this show, it left me feeling confident and showed me everyone deserves a chance.

I normally give shows 5 out of 5 but I have to give this show a 10 out of 10!

It was a feel good, fun, and exciting show all the way through, and the cast was all diverse, there was no type casting which I also loved as anyone could play the roles.

CREATIVE CORNER:

This is a place for Keziah to share any of her creative ideas that are inspired by the show!

Watching the show made me think about how much we do things to people please and how we shouldn't, we should do stuff for ourselves.

We need to learn to say no sometimes, because we deserve to do things that make us happy, and if someone makes us uncomfortable we should take action instead of going along with them.

This show also made me think about how people deserve a second chance, we all make mistakes but we need to give ourselves a break, and make changes from it to make our lives better.

We should be more kind to ourselves and treat ourselves better!,

Never let anyone make decisions for you, only you should make decisions for yourself.

Not everyone has the best intentions for you, so make sure you take time to think about what you want, do what you want, not what they want.

Be what you want, not what they tell you to be, and be with who you want not who they want you to be.
